ENGIE Insight rebrand

materials: brand style guide, website
role: art director, graphic designer

Upon its acquisition by ENGIE in 2017, Ecova was rebranded to be part of the ENGIE brand family. The new organization was to be known as ENGIE Insight.
As Art Director for the project, my task was to develop the brand style guide that maintained the key elements of the ENGIE brand, and yet differentiate ENGIE Insight by its special focus on energy management.
To do this, I chose to use more technical and lifestyle imagery, featuring tight crops, and adding brightly-lit colors to complement the existing color palette of the brand. I minimized the primary and secondary colors from the ENGIE brand, and limited use of tertiary colors to infographics and longform documents. Setting these limitations helped to create a bold yet professional style.
I also worked with a team of graphic designers to develop the new website. We created wireframes, website concepts, and executed revisions per stakeholder feedback.
